Poet Melody

An avid writer since nine, Melody has navigated her life through art. At sixteen, she is a published poet and is now collaborating with De Mi Corazon A Mi Gente to express unity through culinary experiences and written word.

Culture Kitchen at Tucson Meet Yourself 2026

Melody considers herself a voice for the young women of the world; representing the pain and pressures of womanhood in her work. Raised in the Mexican border town of Douglas, Arizona, she strives to make other Mexican-American voices heard through poetry workshops and other community events.
